Robyn O’Neil creates imaginary and metaphisical worlds with her meticolous rendered graphite drawings. Her characters are always men and women alone, or quite distant one from each othersin desert landscapes often covered by snow. Her men and women can be read like a metaphisical urgence of dialogue and, at the mean time of lonliness. She is able to melt apocaliptic views and very romantic attitudes, in wich man’s urgency of relations is always explored and manifested. We can considered Robyn O’Neil’s drawings a metaphor of contemporary life, in which human genre travels without relations and self awareness.
