Than Hussein Clark est un artiste, designer, interprète, réalisateur et écrivain basé à Londres, Hambourg et Berlin. Son travail explore les économies et les histoires tirées de l'architecture, des arts décoratifs et du théâtre pour explorer les nouvelles trajectoires des objets queer et des subjectivités actuelles.

Than Hussein Clark travaille en tant qu'artiste indépendant ainsi qu'au sein du Villa Design Group, qu'il a co-fondé en 2011. Il est également membre du comité de rédaction de la société Montez Press basée à Hambourg et co-fondée par l'artiste en 2012. Après des études à New York et Los Angeles, il est diplômé en histoire de l'art à Edimbourg et à Londres, et poursuivi ses études d’art au Goldsmiths College de Londres et à l'Université des Beaux Arts de Hambourg.

Il est représenté par Mathew Gallery à Berlin et New York, VIVII à Oslo et Karin Guenther à Hambourg.

Than Hussein Clark is an artist, designer, performer, director, and writer based in London, Hamburg, and Berlin. His work explores economies and histories taken from architecture, the decorative arts, and theatre to explore new trajectories for queer objects and subjectivities in the present.

Than Hussein Clark works as an independent artist as well as with the Villa Design Group, which he co- founded in 2011. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Hamburg-based Montez Press, co- established by the artist in 2012. After studying acting in New York and Los Angeles, he first completed a degree in art history in Edinburgh and London, after which he studied art at Goldsmiths College in London and University of Fine Arts in Hamburg.

He is represented by Mathew Gallery in Berlin and New York, VIVII in Oslo, and Karin Guenther in Hamburg.
