Pour sa première exposition personnelle à la galerie Jousse Entreprise, Anne-Charlotte Finel parcourt des souterrains. Urbains, forestiers et aquatiques, ces espaces soustraits à la vue sont scrutés par sa caméra qui grésille dans le halo d’une lumière électrique. C’est dans ces interstices technologiques et géologiques que Finel déploie son art du guet pour faire apparaître un champignon sculptural, des tourbillons d’eaux ou une fleur tropicale.

For her first solo show at the Jousse Entreprise gallery, Anne-Charlotte Finel visits subterranean places. Whether urban, acquatic, or in forests, these invisible spaces are examined by her camera which crackles in the halo of an electric light. It is in these technological and geological interstices that Finel develops her art of watching to bring forth a sculptural mushroom, whirlpools, and a tropical flower.
