Windows high up in the sky, scientific tools, a grimoire, it seems like we are inside a tale that would take place in a laboratory. Flasks, test tubes and other glass elements are attractive topics for the painter, who when representing transparency, feels there the opening of a gap between the world of the visible and the invisible, the material and the immaterial, and feels endowed with the same powers than a magicien, or an alchemist, who claimed to know the secret of the links between spirit and matter.
