Crédit Agricole commits to the restoration of the Cyclop

Crédit Agricole Sponsorship in the Ile-de-France and the Crédit Agricole-Pays de France Foundation share with the Cnap a desire to conserve and promote an exceptional heritage open to all. They have therefore decided to give their support to the restoration of the Cyclop, a monumental work created over almost 25 years by Jean Tinguely, his wife Niki de Saint Phalle and many artists invited by the couple to contribute to it, including Arman, César and Daniel Spoerri.

The  Face of Mirrors created by Niki de Saint Phalle, which covers the face of the Cyclop with a 450 m2 surface of mirrors, has suffered major damage from the climate and now requires major restoration.

“By supporting the restoration of the Cyclop’ Face of Mirrors, we commit to safeguarding our country’s heritage. We are acting in line with our mutualist values of responsibility, solidarity and proximity” stated François Imbault, President of the Board of Directors of  Crédit Agricole in the Ile-de-France and Crédit Agricole Sponsorship in the Ile-de-France when the sponsorship agreement was signed on 1 October 2015.
